Foster a Dog
We're a foster-based rescue — our dogs live in foster homes, not kennels, until they find their own. One of those homes could be yours.
Three Ways to Foster
Different dogs need different things. There's a fit for your household and your season of life.
Adoption Fosters
House an adoptable dog while we find their forever family — and if you fall in love along the way, a “foster win” is our favorite outcome.

Foster Questions, Answered
Does fostering cost me anything?
Fostering is never meant to be a financial burden. For fospice dogs, the rescue covers all medical care — always. For other fosters, dogs come vetted through the rescue's program; talk with the team about how food and supplies are handled for your specific foster.
Can I adopt my foster dog?
Absolutely — we call it a “foster win,” and it's one of our favorite outcomes. Tell the team you'd like to adopt and they'll walk you through the application.
What if it's not a good fit?
Then we rematch, no guilt attached. An honest "this isn't working" helps us learn what the dog needs. The dog always has a place with the rescue.
What if I travel or go on vacation?
Reach out to the team early and they'll help sort out coverage — the dog always has a place with the rescue.
I've never had a senior or special-needs dog. Can I still fospice foster?
Yes. We walk you through everything — medications, comfort care, what to watch for. Willingness matters more than experience.
